I NEVER considered myself lucky before, but after you came into my life I became the luckiest person in the whole universe. You have loved me so much over the years… there is nothing more I could ask of a person… You listen to my long stupid talks for hours on end… you accept my silly tantrums and never take them personally… you patiently spend hours with me without ever getting bored or tired of me… you’ve never shouted at me, even when I’ve done you wrong… and you have pampered me far too much! Here we go again… you’ve hurt me once more, just you’ve done so many times before. I thought you’d changed I really did, but no… I was wrong. You never really changed, you were only ever pretending because there was still something you wanted from me and the moment you had what you wanted, you went right back to square one. It was as if you instantly transformed back into that same mean, selfish person you used to be; the one who cares for no-one and nothing but himself. DON’T JEOPARDIZE MY TRUST

SOMETIMES you can be taken for granted simply because the other person knows that every time they do something wrong they will be forgiven… But how long can a person be taken for granted? Everyone’s patience runs out eventually. I believe I have a lot of patience – but at the same time, I’m nobody’s fool. I believe the more chances you give a person, the more respect you ultimately lose. The more leeway you give them, the more comfortable they will become with ignoring the standards you have set for them… because they always believe there’ll be another chance… They’ll start to depend on your forgiveness and keep repeating the same mistakes because saying sorry is easier than real change. They know there’s always a next time… but NO… not always… not with me. I can’t always guarantee you a next time because once you lose my trust – it’s forever. So if you can’t make the effort to change and keep repeating the same mistakes, I won’t give it another thought… I will simply walk away. Jealousy

Jealousy, over protectiveness and possessiveness are toxins that will poison a relationship. Every person needs their own space… You can’t cage a person just because of your own insecurities and if you truly love someone you need to allow them to be who they are. If you can’t let that person do things on their own without your watchful eye, you are taking away not only their freedom but their ability to think and do things on their own!! Loving someone doesn’t mean you own them – it means you care for them. There’s a difference between being protective and being controlling… so by all means, keep them safe… but don’t keep them confined…

Where has all the love gone?

I’d never thought that life could be so cruel… That something could hit me so hard that it would shatter all my dreams within seconds and put me on a path to where I am now; alone, lonely and aimless. I feel I have no one beside me. You’ve withdrawn from me and taken everything… all the support I had… I gave you all my love, all my time and all my admiration. You took it all gladly and you loved me back… for a time… But then what happened? Where has all this distance between us come from? What has made you suddenly forget about me and the love we had together? When I try to think back on our time together, all I see is love, comfort and peace. All I recall is happiness and lots of laughter together. There were no signs of grudges or fights we never made up from… We were never the couple to constantly be in tears or arguments… So where has all this need for space suddenly come from? In all the time we were together, you were never like this… We always had so much love, understanding and faith in one another. We were always that “MADE FOR EACH OTHER” couple… so why the sudden separation? I never expected it from you… I would never have dreamt of it in my worst nightmares… You have broken my trust and my heart as well…I don’t think I can ever trust anyone in my life – EVER AGAIN! And now this road you’ve put me on is mine to walk all alone… So as of now – I don’t want anyone else in my life! I don’t want to give anyone else the chance to break my heart or play with my feelings like you did…

Ego and attitude make a person so rude and arrogant that they forget they are a flawed human being just like everyone else. Egotistical people tend to forget that every person they treat badly is deeply hurt by their behavior… It never occurs to them that THEY are a source of pain for so many people. When a person is controlled by their own ego, it takes over their mind and their heart… It controls their feelings to a point where they can no longer see or understand anyone else but themselves. To an egotistical person – THEY are always right…. THEIR words should always be the last ones… THEIRS is the only option worth listening to… A person like that becomes incapable of seeing things from another’s point of view and cannot empathize with the pain of others. Blinded by their own arrogance, they will keep repeating the same mistakes over and over, forgetting the rule of KARMA… which says “today it is me – but tomorrow it can be you”. So before hurting others… stop and think about it. Are you really on the right? False ego and self-righteous attitudes never take you anywhere… All they will do is take away the love others have for you and eventually leave you completely alone because the only people left will be the ones who need something from you; the hypocrites, the users, and the liars. My memories have played an important part in my life as they are the treasures I keep safely inside my heart. They’ve made me laugh and they’ve made me cry… Sometimes, when I’m alone they are my only companion. I could spend hours with you looking back on our life together… Some memories bring tears as I miss old times and people I used to know, other memories make me happy, and some memories I look back on just to appreciate the life lessons they taught me. I know it’s important to live in the moment, but remembering the past is important too… Often l will reminisce the good times we’ve had over the years and it rekindles that love again… The memories of our relationship lighten my heart and every new moment we share will stay with me for a lifetime. That is why I never forget any moment of my life and keep my recollections safe within the treasure box of my heart… so I can recall them again at a moment’s notice relive those old times again anytime I wish. It is those happy memories that soothe me whenever I’m upset or angry. I simply remember back to a time when there was nothing but love and happiness between us and realize that’s the way I want us to be again… And all I have to do is remember how much I love you…

We all have memories we try to forget and things we keep hidden inside… We never like to let anyone inside those hidden corners of our heart – but once in a lifetime, we meet someone who loves us so much that they allow us to shed all our inhibitions and fears… At some point in our lives, one person will come along and open all the doors to that dark room which we kept hidden for so long. They will make us so comfortable with who we are that we will completely forget our fear of opening up those dark areas which we were always so afraid to let anybody see. A child is a mother’s pride… For God gave the woman the power to create life and when she carries a child for nine months and that new life finally opens its eyes she feels a sense of pride unlike any other. It is a pride within herself and a pride of her femininity. In her newborn child, she sees herself and all her dreams… she nurtures it with her life. And when that child opens its mouth to speak, its first words are her title as creator… MOM. In that moment she is the happiest person on earth and when she holds her little girl’s hand with her tiny fingers entwined, she feels as if she is holding the entire universe… At her daughters’ first steps, a mother learns to walk and talk with her and watches her proudly… And the day she first ventures out of her mother’s lap to learn new things, to see the world with her own eyes – she becomes a student of the world and makes her mother proud. Her mother will always be there to teach her and to hold her, but eventually, little girls grow big and go out into the world to do something for themselves… And a mother feels proud of her every achievement, her values, and her ethics… all that she carries within herself as she ventures to new places. The little girl who was a part of her body, her heart which is inseparable from her mothers, moves on to do something big… something new. It doesn’t matter if it’s big or small or how much it matters to the world – to a mother, her child’s every accomplishment IS her world! It seems the more time that goes by, the more complicated our relationships become. When we first meet someone and want their love, we do anything and everything to win their affection. We give them all our time and attention… in fact, we do just about everything possible to show our affection so they know that we love them and love us in return. But often, once we have that person’s love, we unwittingly start taking them for granted….Our time – which was once all theirs – gets divided amongst other endeavors…. Their tantrums, quirks, and mood swings – which we once found endearing – begin to irritate us… Their needs, their wants and their desire to talk non-stop for hours about everything that crosses their mind which we used to indulge before – now becomes an annoyance…. Slowly, the love that we have for them begins to erode and the relationship begins to weaken. Before we realize it, that bond we worked so hard to achieve begins to loosen, and a day eventually comes when the two people who used to always be there for one another are nowhere to be seen. And it’s sad to think that two hearts that used to beat as one before have now become sad and lonely and have begun looking for new ways to find peace when all it would have taken was a little effort to keep that love alive. Never let the one you love feel alone or lonely. If you truly love each other – never take them for granted and never let that bond of love loosen… Because hearts eventually become weary from waiting and fights which are never resolved. I’m done! Done with chasing everyone and everything; Done with running to get everywhere in life… and all so as to acquire everything life has to offer… But all this time I’ve been chasing everything – I never once stopped to ask my own heart what it wants. What is it that makes ME happy and content? What is it that I REALLY want?? It seems like everyone around me has everything they ever desired and everything they could ever want from me. Everyone ELSE is satisfied… but I’m not. When I look back on my life, I don’t see anything that can give me lasting happiness… except perhaps the smiles of others that are because of the happiness I provided them. But where is my happiness? When I look at my past all I see is chaos, there’s no memories I can cherish. All that time I was thinking about everyone else – their needs, their wants, their happiness…. and I’d always run so fast so as to fulfill their demands. But I never listened to my heart, my mind or the needs of my body. I worked harder than I was capable of – but now I want to relax. I need a break from the fast life… I need to listen to my heart and do the things that make ME happy…. I want to stop and listen to the murmuring of my heart that is asking to be loved… For once, I want to be pampered! I want to drift into a relaxing sleep and sail away into my own dreamland… My own little world… I want to take some time for myself so I can look at my life and have some memories to cherish. I want to relive my childhood and once again live a life where I can envision my dreams and live a carefree life…. I want that life now! …. I’m done with all this hustle and bustle….

If she’s angry with you and starts shouting for no apparent reason, the best thing you can do is stop and listen to every word she says…. Don’t question her reasoning, don’t stop her mid-sentence or counter argue and most of all – DON’T ask why is she suddenly so upset ! Just wait until she finishes – then go to her, hug her and kiss her lips…. I promise she will melt in no moment ! Because if she flies off the handle like that for no good reason then chances are, she wasn’t sad or upset – she just missed you and felt frustrated by your absence. She WANTS you to understand how upset missing you makes her feel… but she doesn’t want to TELL you… she just wants you to FEEL it… Because deep down, every woman’s heart is as fragile as a child’s … Every woman wants to be loved and taken care of by her man. And like a parent will always care for a child – so should a man take care of a woman, no matter how much the two of them age… Every woman will become upset and angry when not given proper love and attention for long periods of time. When she can’t take that distance and emotional separation anymore she gets sad and irritated and loses her temper over trivial things – often for as long as that disconnection continues. But the moment you connect with her… the moment she feels you understood her pain and knows that you love her – all that anger dissipates because it was really all her hurt and frustration disguised as anger and it needed to be released. So go to her… tell her you love her… and hug all that negativity away!…….
