If he had any character at all he wouldn’t make you constantly run after him for his time… If he genuinely cared about you, he wouldn’t want you to give away your self-respect by chasing someone who wasn’t meant for you. Even if you manage to convince him to be with you, you’ll never have him completely… He’ll never love you truly and wholeheartedly because you are not his choice – if you were he would be chasing after you and you wouldn’t need to put in any effort at all. Have confidence in yourself and respect yourself.
