YOU’VE CHANGED ME FOR THE BETTER

I never thought I could love anyone so much… never thought I’d make someone my life and would do anything to please them. I never thought I could ever give anyone more importance in my life than my own self… I was so self-obsessed, but then you came into my life and changed everything. You taught me the real meaning of love and generosity... you changed my outlook on life and the people around me. You loved me the way that I was, with all my flaws and silly tantrums. You never got angry with me but always tried to calm me down. You made me understand the real meaning of Love, which lies in the happiness of others. You taught me that Love lies in keeping peace around everyone and in forgiving others mistakes and moving forward… You taught me that Love lies in bringing a smile to the faces who have only tears in their eyes... You have made me a HUMAN WITH A HEART and changed me from the stone-hearted, proud girl I once was. Now that I have learnt the meaning of love, I have made you my life and I promise you…I will never let you down! I will never hurt anyone, especially you and I thank God for blessing me with a love like yours.

JUST BE TRUE TO ME

I’M DONE! ... done with all your excuses and lies. Whenever I stop texting or calling you, you never make any move forward or even attempt to contact me asking about my whereabouts or wellbeing. Whenever I stay just out of reach you never enquire about me... and when you do come crawling back it’s always with a long list of excuses… the same old ones… and I’m done with all of them. If you don't want to talk to me be straightforward and tell me - don't try to make up for things if you don’t even care. Don't make promises when you have no intention of keeping them. If you don't want to give me your time and attention, just tell me... but don't pretend you feel things you don't. I don't want any of your lame excuses anymore... I want your love and your undivided attention and time... I want you and your love... I want it to be just you and me. But most of all I want an HONEST YOU, who has the courage to bring me the truth no matter how bitter it happens to be... Love or no love… just be true to me…!! 

OUR LIVES MAKE US WHO WE ARE

What if we got a chance to rewrite the stories of our life? What if we were given the power to change everything that has happened in our lives..?? What if we were granted a choice of having everything we want... whatever we like in it?? I know I would erase all the bad things I’ve experienced… all the wrong things I did and would change my whole life into a happy never-ending fairy tale… But then there wouldn't be anything to remember… there’d be nothing to cherish because there’d be no important memories and no heartaches to make them special... I wouldn't be what I am today because it is everything together – the good and the bad - that teaches us the real meaning of life. If there weren't any pain or tears in our lives we’d never get to know the meaning of happiness. If there weren't any heartbreaks we shouldn't cherish true love. Every day we move one step forward while living our life and every day it teaches us something new and works to improve our being. Always give thanks to God, for He has given you the best you deserve

SHE WANTS THE RIGHT GUY

She doesn't want just ANY guy…she wants someone to watch her adoringly when she's smiling with her friends and doing stupid things, someone who can brush her hair back from her face… someone who randomly kisses her or texts her saying he misses her after only hours have passed. She doesn't want expensive gifts or fancy dinners every night… she doesn't want the world – just the little things… the little things that make her swoon. She wants someone she can talk to when she’s having a bad day... someone she can rely on... someone who finds her cute even in her most messy outfits … someone whose thoughts stays constantly on her mind… someone who can make her smile without any effort at all and can bring her down to earth and never hurts her. She wants someone who can understand her inside out... someone she's afraid to lose and whose last name she wants to have… She wants a guy who - even when silent – can speak volumes to her.

WHEN THE GAP BECOMES TOO VAST

We do things for the people we love and we do find pleasure doing things for them… but sometimes no matter what we do, it is never enough for them. It is as though they don't understand our love and our dedication to them, but instead, try to find faults in everything we do. They never appreciate our efforts... never reciprocate our feelings. It is as if they think they have a right to us and hence continues to demand without even realizing that love needs to be reciprocated - because if love is not requited, the feelings die and what remains is just a formality. With time, even that formality ends when it becomes more pain than pleasure. Eventually, we stop doing things for them and start thinking about our own happiness which we kept putting aside while trying to make them happy. And by the time they realize their mistakes... the gap between you has widened so much that it becomes difficult to recover from it.

LEARN FROM BAD CHOICES

Don't regret anything in your life - it’s too short to waste time on that. If a decision you made or a road you took lead you down a negative path, learn what you can from it so it never happens again. Remember that life isn't a game you can start over and make different choices so there's no possible way to navigate your way though it without making any mistakes. The best you can do is learn from them to improve your decision-making abilities and in that way, allow them to guide you to better outcomes in future decisions. The past is out of your control but a better future is still out there waiting for you to choose it.

NEVER FORGET YOUR ROOTS”

The moment you came into being is the moment they became parents and their life changed completely. From that moment on everything became focused on you... their dreams, their desires and their focus – it all became about you. All their time and thought went into you... they prepared a good life for you and put themselves second as you became their topmost priority. Your parents brought you into this world and gave you everything you needed to give you the best opportunity they could. They gave you the best in the hopes that you would become the best human being. They never held you back, but gave you wings to fly, as all they wanted was to see you happy and on the top of the world. They wanted to be known by the reputation of your name, so they never stopped you from achieving your goals and dreams. But in your pursuit of greatness… while flying so high… you forgot about them. You forgot your own roots and detached yourself from them. A tree will always reach for the sky, but without roots it cannot survive for long. You need to be attached to your family to attain success and happiness in life, as there's no one else in this world except your parents who will give you everything they have without expecting anything in return except a little love and respect. When you disrespect your parents - you disrespect God, as they are the closest thing on this earth to a creator which you are blessed enough to be able to see, hold and take care of. Treat them with love and respect and remember that even if they said anything hurtful, it was because they wanted you to achieve success and they truly had the best intentions at heart.
