Sometimes there are some things about a person that repeatedly hurt us so much that we can’t take that trauma for long and we have to separate from them. It’s so often the people we thought would never hurt us that end up hurting us the most because they’re the only ones who know us well enough to understand where to push us to reach our breaking point… They’re the only ones close enough to us to strike a blow that’s capable of breaking us… and shattering our hearts forever.
